In the Gramo context, a recording is the same as:

  • Song

  • Track

  • Cut

  • Movement

A recording must be part of a release. It can stand alone or with other recordings on a release.

Examples of a release are:

  • Album

  • EP

  • Single

  • Compilation album

  • Symphony

One recording can be found on several releases.
