A local radio station broadcasts within a limited geographic area in Norway, as opposed to a nationwide radio station that broadcasts across the entire country.

This is how it works:

Until January 1, 2025, Gramo had contract with the Norwegian Local Radio Association regarding the use of music in local radio.

A new contract is currently under negotiation and will take effect as soon as it is finalized.

  1. You must at least once a year report to us the music the radio has played.

  2. By August 1st each year, you must send information about your operation.

    • We calculate the amount of what the radio must pay based on the information you have submitted

  3. We send out three invoices a year
